Galileo European Network of Experts to Support the European Commission

GENESIS is a Thematic Network launched under the 5th Framework Programme as part of the Galileo definition phase.
This project, which officially started on November 15, 1999, will last 4 years.

GENESIS Aims
GENESIS main objective is to provide the European Commission Thematic Network with support through the setting up and the management of a structured network composed of institutional partners and on-request satellite navigation experts.

By this means the European Commission will be provided with continuous overview and monitoring of satellite navigation activities, in Europe and worldwide, and with a continuous guidance on Galileo key issues.
